Pasadena: Mid-Week Writer’s Critique Group
March 14 @ 3:30 am – 6:00 am PDT
With the current situation, 9 Bridges has purchased a Zoom account to hold online meetings for the Pasadena Critique Group. Here’s the link:

NOTE IMPORTANT CHANGES. . .
Unfortunately, the “read aloud” format isn’t working very well since we rely on Zoom’s meeting services. While it is a fine replacement for the moment, not all of us are gamers, meaning the buffering, streaming, and loading aren’t always the smoothest.
Those of us online have found it convenient and productive to receive the writing beforehand, then read the pieces and make our own notes to bring to the scheduled meeting.
Anyone wishing to submit writing needs to get his or her piece to Bill (at firstname.lastname@example.org) by 4 p.m. on the Sunday prior to our scheduled Wednesday. I will then send them out to anyone who will “attend” for feedback; they should be on their way by early evening of that Sunday.
Other items important to note:
1. Please make it a word document
2. Identify yourself on the document (best in headers with page numbers)
3. Double space the writing and use an appropriate font (12 point Times New Roman is pretty standard) and
4. If it particularly long (over 1,500 words), please consider splitting it into two or more parts as fitting to the entire piece. Many have done this with a paragraph to remind readers what went on before.
Sorry for all the new rules, but desperate times—don’cha know.
