9 Bridges – PDX is an extremely active writing community with members who are passionate about their writing. We have multiple critique groups and write-ins in different areas of the city, which allows us to serve a wide and diverse group of writers. There is usually at least one event happening every week. Each one of our meeting times is a unique community with a different leader and a slightly different personality. In addition, we offer monthly writers workshops, social events and host the NW Book Festival every summer in Pioneer Square. Our members have developed lasting friendships with one another and have formed small focused critique groups, gone on writing retreats together, engaged in online collaboration and published an anthology of poetry.
